Member of Parliament, Takanini
Rima Nakhle is the Member of Parliament for Takanini and a leader shaped by service, advocacy, and community commitment. Dr. Abann Kamyay Ajak Yor, MNZM, is a nationally recognised leader whose life embodies resilience, transformation, and service. From surviving the conflict of South Sudan to becoming a foremost advocate for displaced and migrant communities in New Zealand, his journey inspires courage and hope. As CEO of the Aotearoa Resettled Community Coalition, Abann has empowered thousands through education, leadership development, and cultural advocacy. Honoured with the New Zealand Order of Merit, he remains a tireless mentor and changemaker dedicated to building stronger, more inclusive communities.
